There are a couple of steps (T&C)- Email me your details and briefly tell me what you want. 1 will be able to advise you or give some suggestions. I don't charge you for ideas; I want the best possible website 1 can give you.
- Gather your information ~ add AGM results, financial statements, certificates, business partner logos, your own logo, a slogan, about you. Generally how you want to come across to the public? Simply, what information do you want on your site so that visitors know why they would want to buy your product or service? Don't forget that if you are an NPO you are a service provider to your beneficiaries. Your donors "purchasers" want to see what service to the beneficiaries you are supplying.
- Email me the information and 1 will respond with some questions and suggestions.
- Now we start.
- I will generally start with the background of the website since that sets the image style.
- With the information, 1 will let you know how many pages you need. 1 am usually provided with less than necessary. Should you not have more information, think of how you would like to use those pages. 1 can also make suggestions.
- You can request a website name but I may have to suggest something else. There is always a toss-up with names. choice 1 ~ do you want your whole company name used which makes it lengthy on business cards or 2 ~ short www.put-yourself-out-there.pyot.biz or www.pyot.pyot.biz?
- Explain what you want ... I want ..." I will tell you if 1 can do it or not. In other words, am I starting to add bells & whistles.
- For 1 week we work around the site and you can email and bug me as much as you like.
- Telephone calls made at your cost
- After 7 days you say "Jax, 1 like this" and you make payment within 24 hours from point 4.
- If changes are required after that, the costs will add up until its work making a payment. At R1 a change, payment costs can often exceed the value of the fee.
- If on the 8th day, you have not made up your mind and wish to carry on further. When you come back, you probably have the money. Please pay 1/2 upfront to continue the process.
- If you stop the process to continue it late after point / stage 4 there is a R500 continuance fee. So please know you will need to pay and commit to your site for 7 days
