What you pay me for are ideas, experience, speed of output, simplicity and my time.
This is why my business is geared towards NPOs and small or start up business.
When you ask for quotes for websites, it starts to feel like a luxury not necessity ~ Love to...but not right now.
Yes, there is Facebook and social media, and that is just that~ social media.
Yes, there is blogging but do you really want an address like http://p-y-o-t.blogspot.com/ and again is just social media.
If you view social media as sufficient, then ask why your competition has websites?
There is a time and a place for everything.
By putting-yourself-out-there on the internet is the place and yesterday was your time.
You have no time to lose!
My business does not need to stop at this sector. Shopping centres are a group of small business in one building. Food chain companies have their menu and specials on the web. Where is yours?
As an estate agent would say "location ~ location ~ location" and today they have properties advertised on their websites, taking their own advice.
In summary, you do not have the time to save up for an expensive website with all the bells & whistles and you do not have the time to disappear behind your competition's' website sites.
You need to put-yourself-out-there now!
